E nānā ana i ka ‘ōpua o ka ‘āina Observing the horizon clouds of the land
|
Used in recent 8th grade classes, this is an ‘ōlelo no‘eau that reminds us to observe the clouds as they tell us much about our weather and environment. In this season of Lono and Makahiki the clouds tell us of weather that is dramatic and exciting, fierce and fertile. We welcome Lonoikamakahiki! Our students had fun working with professional chefs during the Culinary Classic weekend, and the garden is thriving thanks to consistent rains and pa'ahana. Be sure to enjoy Holly's Kabocha Pie recipe and join us December 14 for our community workday! Mahalo nui loa for any donations provided during this holiday season. Hau‘oli Makahiki Hou!
